I'm Maurice Holloway. I write books.
When I'm not writing, I read books of all genres from chicklit and comedy to romances and family sagas to crime and thrillers. I'm pretty sure that if I didn't read as much as I do, I wouldn't be able to write.
Being an avid reader of anything from cereal packets to encyclopedias, I enjoy writing for all genres and for the creative pleasure it brings. I don't do it for commercial or esteem reasons - I do it because I love writing!

I also like to paint and take photos and, many years ago, used to hold exhibitions.
And I love a good movie or TV series.
All About Me
Back in 2008, a friend introduced me to a local writers' group. With encouragement, support and advice from other members I developed my writing skills. I’d had no formal training in writing although, as my career included preparing management reports, budget reviews, press releases and advertising copy, I felt well versed in writing fiction!
Apart from my autobiography (family viewing only), I’ve completed nine children’s books (three action-adventure and six fantasy-adventure), over twenty other novels (not all published yet) of different genres and numerous short stories.
